Hello Bloggers,

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday today I know I sure enjoyed mine just being at home with my guys relaxing and playing with polish. :)

This mani is not  my idea I was inspired by a friend and nail art guru on YouTube who did a tut on this very idea. Here is her link. soguesswhat11 Please go check her channel out she has awesome easy to follow tutorials. She also said she got the idea on how to sponge easier from a blogger and here is her link to the sponge tutorial she is awesome check her out. Thenailasaurus

I started with picking out the colors I wanted my base color and gradient colors to be. If you ask me that's the hardest part of this whole mani lol. I did my base with Flip Flop Fantasy and let it dry which didn't take long at all.

I then did one line of polish with each color I picked out and then  used a toothpick to blend the colors a bit and then dabbed the sponge on the lines then applied it to my nails. It was so much faster and easier this way and even looked smoother and more blended.

After some dry time I added a generous layer of Seche Vite for my top coat to help make it shine and protect it. I hope you give this a try it was fun! Thanks for reading and have a safe holiday evening and week ahead. Stay cool!

Pacific Blue Flower Mani

Items Used:
OPI: Chip Skip, OPI: Nail Envy, Sally Hansen: Pacific Blue, Pure Ice: A List, Pure Ice: Oh Baby!, B.M # 224, Seche Vite: Top Coat

Hello Bloggers,

This is my mani for the weekend. I love this blue it's just so pretty and dries pretty fast for it to be a cream color. If you want more sparkle to this then just add the B.M stamp #224 with the flowers or any design you wish. I used PI: A List which looks like a mint chrome color but turns to a silvery blue once applied.

I then took PI: Oh Baby! and just dotted it into the circles of the flowers to add some more sparkle. It looks so pretty in the sunlight. I let it dry for a bit then added a thick coat of Seche Vite. It's a bright and sparkly mani and fun to show off.

Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.
Stay cool!

Graduation Nails in School Colors

Hello Bloggers,

I'm sorry I have been gone for so long but this month was a busy one for our family. My son graduated from high school on May 18th, 2012. We have been busy spring cleaning the house and getting ready for the big day.

I don't know if you all remember me saying my son has Autism. He is what I consider high functioning. He is very alert and a pure joy to be around. My husband and I are very blessed to have had a great school system and wonderful teachers there to help our son achieve this goal.

He had been in school most of his life.We had early intervention coming to our home twice a week when he was 18mths old until he started in the school system from pre-school and up.  He has been in a regular class room with his peers and pulled out for his speech and language classes. I held him back in 8th grade because his grades were very low and I felt he wasn't ready for high school.

It paid off in the end because he did very well and his father and I are very proud of him for working so hard to get his diploma. Again I do apologize for being M.I.A but I just had to devote all my time to family this month.

Please enjoy the photo's of the mani's I have done while I was absent. Thanks again for stopping by.

Hello Bloggers,

Yes I am back again. Sorry for flooding you all with new post's but I have been so busy this week. My son is a high school senior and he is going to graduate next month! So I have been sending out invites and pictures and just trying to get things set up for the big day.

On to the mani, I did a big one here it took some time to get it done but I loved how it turned out. So you may want to set some time aside to do this one lol.  I stared off with OPI Tickle my francy for my base color. I then did each color across the nail side ways.

I used Desire at the top by the cuticle and then Pink Rose Diamond in the middle and Amethyst on the tips. I let them dry some then added a thin coat of Seche Vite. After that dried I did my leopard print stamp with Black Star and then did a coat of Seche again to seal the design.

I love how pretty this came out. It sparkled so pretty in the sun due to the holographic colors in the polishes. If you try this please let me know in the comment section how you liked it. Thanks so much for your time and I hope you have a great week. :)
